This a portrait of my friend Noah as Oliver Cromwell, Lord Protector of England during the Commonwealth or Interregnum period between kings Charles I and Charles II. There isn't much to distinguish this portrait as supposedly one of Cromwell, except for the unadorned suit of armor that he wore in the painting I referred to. He was a very plain and Puritanical man (he banished Christmas after all), and while later in life he may have enjoyed pomp and regalia as king in everything but name, in essence he was a moral and simple man of the people.
At any rate it is always nice to paint metal.
AMazing!!!!!!
