This is a commissioned portrait of Colonel Luigi Palma di Cesnola with his Medal of Honor which he received for valor in the U.S. Civil War. It is a copy of a contemporary portrait and is on another small 5 by 7 canvas. Although I haven't painted a holiday subject since the
tree ornament, this will be my fourth Christmas present painting.
