Are you thirsty? Have a drink from these vintage ads for vintage wines and liquor. They were not meant as advertisements, but looking at these pictures by Vincent van Gogh, Anna Munthe-Norstedt, and Pieter Claesz just made me want to twist off a cork and pour something in my glass. So as ads they worked well. I just simplified the paintings a little bit and added the text. That is the goal of this blog, to marry the old with the new, paint and Photoshop, pen and ink into pixels on a screen.
